Just When You Thought George Galloway Could Not Stoop Lower.

Galloway’s Attack on the Respected Labour MP for Tottenham.

Lammy happens to be black (for those outside the UK who may not know who he is)…..

But Galloway can stoop even lower:

“I want to know the whole truth about the relationship between Starmer spokesman “Lord” Peter Mandelson and the paedophilic child-sex trafficker #JeffreyEpstein” Don’t you? @MoatsTV@UKLabour

Galloway has a thing about arses and anal-sex…

  1. Apart from the implicit racism and anal fixations displayed, the original tweet is also pretty messy for the disabled – and as I am effectively paraplegic following irreversible spinal collapse, I feel that keenly. However, I’ll watch his broadcast because it is, I think, the first time since the by-election that the great man has deigned to speak in public. If there is anything of interest, I”ll report it.

    • I thought it was incredibly insulting (have tweeted on this).

Simply put, you do not speak like that. Some of our local activists are disabled, including a Labour Councillor and a DPAC activist.

I like the book Galloway refers to and have read it more than once ( I doubt if he actually knows it, he has probably only seen the film versions or the Disney cartoon). It is titled in French Notre-Dame de Paris. It has sod all to with his poking fun at Quasimodo. There is this incident, “his rescue of Esmeralda from the gallows.”

    • Saw the opening of his show. GG’s TV videocast had distinct and heavy echoes of post poll Mar-a-Largo but with a Dundonian accent. The overall story is that the national narrative was 100% “Fake news”. All directed at him… He will still go to court. When the by-election is again held, which he was confident will happen, GG will not however stand. The thrust of his case was that the CE / ERO of Kirklees did not order a recount. He and the Tory had asked for a recount but this was denied. Trump-like talk of a late ‘slew’ of votes coming in at the end of count (in black bin bags) The PV’s were suspicious because, well, Kirklees Labour Council cannot be trusted. Labour in Kirklees is a Tammany Hall body. They also took down his posters. And at the very same time, he stressed, a new Labour leaflet – by absolute co-incidence – came out. He was upset that Trade Union officers were bussed in to help Labour’s campaign and their expenses not on the record. Those who heckled Leadbeater or ‘egged’ the Labour team ‘were not part of the GG team” – but then they never were… At that point, Chris Williamson was ushered on in a gush of mutual adulation, and then I left for an Amazon Prime sci-fi movie…………The Mother of All Talkshows with George Galloway – Episode 107 – YouTube

  2. […] Coatesy on Galloway’s latest despicable comments. […]

    • I know nothing of and have no comment re GG’s comments about anal sex. However his comments about David Lammy are perfectly fair. This man abstained on the ‘hostile environment’ 2014 Immigration Act. He has been a warmonger and supporter of Israeli apartheid. As far as I’m concerned Lammy is an uncle Tom

    • Galloway and the CPGB-ML: notes on a romance.

“It was clearly the fact that Galloway wasn’t let back into the Labour Party under Corbyn (he didn’t even get close) and gave up on any such ambition that meant the CPGB-ML could conceive of itself as playing a similar role that the SWP played in Respect. The CPGB-ML has worked with Galloway for a number of years now and he was speaking on its platforms in 2009 during its ‘Hands off China’ campaign. (The CPGB-ML also has excellent links with the Chinese embassy in London, whose personnel have appeared on platforms with Galloway and party members, much to the annoyance of the Morning Star’s Communist Party of Britain [CPB]…”

“Allied to this, the CPGB-ML is clearly a well-disciplined, well-financed, ‘cadre’ organisation that punches beyond its weight in terms of the money and commitment it gets from its members. It has obviously recruited younger members in some numbers, although there has recently been some internal controversy around the issues of identity politics and transsexual rights that I’m not qualified to comment on. ”

  3. Tony Greenstein may or may not have anything to say about “anal sex” … but he surely knows that in this context the term “Uncle Tom” is as racist as (for instance) someone calling him a “capo”. But we must bear in mind the unfortunate fact that Mr Greenstein is mentally ill, and make allowances for that.

    • The overwhelming majority of leftists would never use expressions like this about anybody, let alone the Labour MP for Tottenham.. In any case outside of our European experience. And, in fact, having read the book it comes across clearly that the writer’s intentions were good and there are many moving scenes in it,

Uncle Tom’s Cabin; or, Life Among the Lowly[1][2] is an anti-slavery novel by American author Harriet Beecher Stowe. Published in 1852, the novel had a profound effect on attitudes toward African Americans and slavery in the U.S. and is said to have “helped lay the groundwork for the Civil War”.

“The book and the plays it inspired helped popularize a number of stereotypes about black people.[15] These include the affectionate, dark-skinned “mammy”; the “pickaninny” stereotype of black children; and the “Uncle Tom”, or dutiful, long-suffering servant faithful to his white master or mistress. In recent years, the negative associations with Uncle Tom’s Cabin have, to an extent, overshadowed the historical impact of the book as a “vital antislavery tool”.
