Left wing breaks up after anti-Semitic Scandal

It is comrade Steve Cook who first signaled  this:

No photo description available.

It was bad enough with the previous rubbish with Jackie  Walker and their support for Chris Williamson,

Now nobody is going to take anything they say seriously.

  1. LOL, hots up!

Are you kidding, no one is interested in the next labour leader, as they will never get into No.10

    • There are some people in the LRC I and many of us deeply respect,

Statement from the Labour Representation Committee Officers regarding recent Facebook posts

We are aware of a number of complaints about our recent social media content. We take these complaints, and the issues underlying them, seriously.

We recognise that a number of the posts that have attracted criticism were, at the very least, careless. Others have led to accusations that we have promoted antisemitic content, counter to all the values and policies of the LRC. These posts should not have been made, they have now been deleted, and we apologise for them.

We also recognise that some of the views recently expressed via our Facebook page do not reflect our LRC policies, the views of our officers nor our wider membership, as would be expected of a platform representing an established Labour left membership group.

Due to the seasonal break and people being away on holiday, we haven’t dealt with this situation as quickly as we would have liked. For this we apologise, too.

We have now reviewed who has access to admin and posting rights, and have revised our processes to make sure that, from now on, our social media is regulated more robustly, with additional checks and balances on content. We will also be urgently considering what other steps are needed to address the issues raised.

  3. Well, whoever they are Dave, they should keep on doing what they are doing! As it’s working so well.

  4. Dave, it’s a pressure group that represents the most left-wing members of the labour party.

  5. Hasn’t the LRC always been in the political wilderness? I mean, they are hardly a household name.
