Comrades! Spare a Moment to shed a Quiet Tear.

The Weekly Worker, organ of the Communist Party of Great Britain (Provisional Central Committee), to give it its full august title, its front organisation, the Labour Party Marxist, a pillar and web page, with the Tony Greenstein Party, and Jackie Walker, of Labour Against the Witch-hunt, has been forthright in standing up for Chris Williamson in recent days.

Spotters have already noted that  they are now stirring up Labour Party motions in favour of Vanessa Beeley’s best friend.

Draft Emergency Motion: Reinstate Chris Williamson MP!

Resolutions and statements passed in support of Chris Williamson MP

Their old mucker, Gerry Downing, has not been idle either.

Proving that anti-semitism does not exist the latest Socialist Fight cries:

Reinstate Chris Williamson! Expel all Zionist racists from Labour!

“the presence of a significant layer of reactionaries with special privileges to abuse others on the basis of supremacism and racism is totally inimical to socialism and anti-racism. “

“it is supposedly ‘anti-Semitic’ to note the highly organised racist activities of very wealthy, racist Jewish-Zionist bourgeois in the West, loyal to Israel…”

“Jewish supremacism is every bit as disgusting and racist a threat to oppressed minorities and democratic rights as the white supremacism it allies with.”

“Tom Watson is now the leader of the racist, pro-imperialist fifth column in the Labour Party….”

” And what do we make of the grovelling specimen Owen Jones? A disgrace to his parents.”

These days are returning!

  1. This is an insult to Niemoeller’s memory.

  2. It is an insult but do you think they care? The whole thing is reminiscent of holocaust deniers. The continual reference to other similar writers is Irving and co all over.

  3. In all honesty we are looking forward to a hard Brexit and the empty supermarket shelves it will hopefully bring. It will give us a chance to lose a ton of weight. Our doctors told us that if we came down in a plane crash we had enough fat on us to last for twenty years. There is just too much temptation out there. A hard Brexit will be a Godsend for those of us struggling to lose weight.

  4. It is seriously gut wrenchingly sickening.

What do you expect from people who compare their expulsion from the Labour Party to lynchings, and illustrate this with picture of a noose.

Or have this as one of their leaders (Labour Against the Witch-hunt)

  5. The Weekly Worker / CPGB / Greenstein / Machover have now placed themselves beyond the pale: they’re clearly apologists for anti-Semitism, “left” anti-Semites themselves and unworthy of any support/defence from the serious left: fuck’em!

  6. Gorgeous, if he does say so himself George Galloway ranting on about an alleged Aljazeera video that categorically proves that Labour MPs received a £1 million bung from Israel to leave the Labour Party and set up this ‘Independent Group’.

  7. A good thing they have zero influence in the British labor movement, eh? They’ve lost their damn minds.

  8. Their most famous former member,

    A man of contradictions
    Michael Bettaney (Malkin) February 13 1950-August 16 2018.

“We first got to know Michael Bettaney in the mid-1980s. After an Old Bailey trial, mainly held in camera, he had just been convicted under section 1 of the Official Secrets Act. Michael stood charged with attempting to pass damaging information on to the Soviet Union. Lord Lane handed him a 23-year sentence (apparently there were those in government pressing for an even longer stretch).”

” Nonetheless, serving 15 years and six months surely speaks for itself. He had the steel of conviction.
Upon his release in 1998, Michael moved in with Marion. Both an odd couple and ideal partners – some day a playwright or a novelist will tell their unlikely tale.

Despite writing for the Weekly Worker, Michael became a thoroughgoing localist. He worked at the corner newsagent, helped the old and infirm, became a beater for pheasant shoots and got to know all and sundry. He proudly proclaimed himself a Marxist until his death, but he was also a committed Catholic. ”

” He proudly proclaimed himself a Marxist until his death, but he was also a committed Catholic. We parted company over … who knows what – he clearly wanted to leave our ranks. Nonetheless, I shall always regard Michael as a friend and comrade.

In later years his Catholicism became far more important than his Marxism. He regularly attended mass. Father John, the priest officiating at his funeral service, assured us all that we would meet Michael in heaven – along with John Paul II and all the other Catholic bishops and saints. For my part, if the Christian doctrine is true, I hope to meet Michael in the fires of hell – the company is better there.
