Loony Tunes Condemn Terror Laws for Creating ‘Witch-Hunt’ against Islam

with 16 comments

Muslim women who want to expose FEMEN for the Islamophobes/Imperialists that they are….

There are plenty of Loony Tunes who  back this, British Muslims condemn terror laws for creating ‘witch-hunt’ against Islam

Muslim community rejects the state’s criminalisation of Islam and condemns moves to silence legitimate critique and dissent. This joint statement expresses a position with respect to the ongoing demonisation of Muslims in Britain, their values as well as prominent scholars, speakers and organisations.

We, the undersigned imams, sheikhs, advocates, activists, community leaders, community organisations and student bodies of the Muslim community, make the following points in this regard.

So who are these people.

Some prominent cases.

The Muslim Action Forum (MAF).

“Google is world wide web Terrorist.”

Hizb ut-Tahrir : Caliphate only way for Stability in Middle East.

How right they are!

The ‘Islamic Human Rights Commission‘ who have just awarded the murdered staff of Charlie Hebodo ‘International Islamophobe of the year award’.

People Mourn Murdered Charlie Staff: Same as Nazis Says Islamic ‘Human Rights’ Group.

And, no doubt the jewel in the crown of the ‘prominent scholars’ we find this: “Sofia Ahmed, Muslim Women Against Femen.”

  1. One of the signatories, Hizb ut-Tahrir, is we well known extremist group. They come out of the woodwork.

  2. i think its ok to criticise Islam, but the impression that i get is that you’re doing from your own ethno religious perspective – Judaism and Jewish nationalism. Tariq Ramadan exposed this in France, intellectuals pushing through a zionist line while pretending to be secular leftists and marxists.

I guess Rabbi Milliband is one of your lot?

  3. “Rabbi Miliband”? The Labour leader is a broadly atheist secular Jew. What on earth are you going on about?

  4. Jacko, once again, detects the hidden hand of “your own ethno religious perspective – Judaism and Jewish nationalism”

I think he’s closing in on us and our paid-for conspiracy, My Comrade In Zionism, Comrade Coates!

  5. no, i’m not. are you zionists? yes or no?
why do you spend all your time attacking Islam if you’re not Islamophobes?
i think that the AWL, shiraz socialist and this site should be nominated for the Islamophobia awards.

  6. What a nasty obsessive antisemitic piece of shit your new pal is, Coatesy. You should watch where you’re walking (was probably attached to a dog with a piece of string).

  7. Jackson,

why didn’t you respond to my question about your bizarre accusation that a broadly atheist secular Jew is a “Rabbi”, as if Britain would become a Jewish – even a Jewish fundamentalist – state if he became prime minister?

This is a very serious accusation, and one which in the past would only have been heard from the likes of the BNP and National Front.

I see no reason to believe – on the evidence of what Ed Miliband has said and suggested in over four years – that a Britain in which he was prime minister would be any more orientated towards Zionism than post-Thatcher Britain has generally been. Indeed, if anything it would probably be less so.

  8. well, the AWL are broadly secular leftist Jews, but that doenst stop them from being Jewish nationalists.
Perhaps Milliband is the same, perhaps not.

  9. I realise you want to shoot the messenger, but i am only telling you what many people are coming to believe. if you weren’t actually Jewish nationalists, you wouldn’t have got so worked up and full of insults.

i have no particular anti semitism, i am only saying that it is clear that
    1) Jews work and think as a nation, just as other groups do. Jews pretend they dont, somehow.
    2) jewish national interests are fine, but there is no need to pretend they are somehow the demands of the proletariat.

apart from that, I have no ‘anti semitism’ at all. Zionism is the brother of fascism, and if people now see Jews as Nazis, then that is nothing to do with me, but with the actions of Israel, and with the US supporting this with Jewish people at top levels of government. to be suspicious is only natural. Sorry, but i’m only telling you how it it.

when this site goes all out Islamophobic, then it is not surprising if many people think that at bottom it is following a Jewish national line. Just be honest about it, and thats fine.

  10. How do you know how many people in the AWL are even Jewish at all? And why do you infer that Miliband is a bona fide religious Jew when you admit that you don’t even know whether his policies – compared, say, to those of the very definitely non-Jewish Tony Blair – would be particularly Zionist?

I think it is reasonable for people to oppose reaction and fear without being “Jewish nationalists”.

  11. Same stylistic/lingusitic tics as the creep here. Yeah it’s boring at work, I’ve been reduced to reading Shiraz Swamp for cheap (and not existent) thrills.

  12. are you really subject to reaction and fear from islamic extremists? i dont think so. unless you were supporters of the zionist state, which does have much to fear, indeed.
hezbollah and hamas are anti imperialists, why dont you recognize that? i got no crocodile tears for charlie.

everybody already speaks of the AWL as a ‘zionist sect’ on the left. i dont know if it is or not, but that is what your reputation is. perhaps the AWL ought to put out an article refuting this.

i’ve been insulted enough. i will not comment any more, even at provocation. Good luck to you all.

ps. i’m NOT Ian Donovan, honest guv.

  13. There is reaction and fear on the extreme Islamist side. As there is on the extreme Christianist side, and the extreme of any side. There are truer, deeper traditions that we should be drawing on in our fight against exploitation and division.

I have been very polite and reasonable in my language here, even if others haven’t been. This is precisely because I don’t support deregulated global capitalism and I understand entirely why some people feel so desperate that they will take any allies at all against it. I know where that sense of utter despair and defeat comes from; I feel it a lot of the time myself. I just don’t think *anti-human* forces such as Islamist groups are our natural friends. Better to wallow in the hopeless glamour of oblivion than to make friends like those.

Still, talk about swings and roundabouts. Fifty years ago it would have largely been Rotarians in Historic Market Towns who would not accept the Britishness of British Jews. Now they are relatively supportive.

  14. I see ‘Jackson’ – or his alter-ego, Ian Donovan, has just got a letter in the Weekly Worker,

“Yet again, the litmus is George Galloway. Conrad makes an issue of an alleged incident where John Pearson threatened to “lamp” someone in a political context years earlier. If he did this, and failed to repudiate it, that is stupid and discredits him. But, given that Conrad demands that candidates for the Left Unity leadership condemn such violence, why did the CPGB refuse to condemn the violent racist/politically-motivated, violent attack on George Galloway, by a Jewish-Zionist thug, on August 29, because of his views on Gaza?”

  15. Is this another of Jacko’s greatest hits?

Jews are disproportionately masters of manipulation, which is why there are so many Jewish lawyers and why Jews, being small in numbers, have so much influence in politics and finance, and why almost all the people who wound up as billionaires when the Soviet Union broke up were Jews. I’m not going to argue whether this is due to skills passed down through genes or through culture, or through a combination of factors, but I think it’s irrefutable.
