Voters Should Vote UKIP in Bridge Ward

Posted on April 15, 2014by

I agree with James Spencer here where he says

It is tough to persuade voters who have invested some of their identity with a party that the town’s interests, a Labour defeat, means lending your vote to another party…….

…..So with the European elections coming up vote for your party in the European elections where you won’t be wasting your vote and vote for the party most likely to beat Labour in the local council.

In Bridge that means UKIP.

 Algar continues,

“It’s a case of none of the other parties being capable of beating Labour. The Tories can’t win Bridge and neither do they want to. So UKIP are the only option.”

So, having slagged off Ipswich as a “dump” Holy Roller Kevin Algar is now preparing to abandon his own party.

We confidently predict that many other Tories, and not just eccentrics like Algar and his friend Spencer (who left the Conservatives in opposition to gay marriage) will shift over the xenophobic far-right UKIP.

Like rats deserting a sinking ship?

  1. I have not shifted over to the party with the largest number of ethnic minority candidates in this years Borough elections known as UKIP. Niether have I slagged off Ipswich as a “dump” I have merely encouraged tactical voting because though I hate UKIP, I hate Labour more.

  2. Publicly calling for a vote for another party to your own is normally considered a reason to suspend somebody from that party.

Let us see how your political mates, or rather chums, take this.

And you certainly agreed that Ipswich a dump – to your new best friends in Bury.

Yet another reason to question your membership of Ipswich Conservative Association, or perhaps Woodbridge beckons?

  4. Anywhere else in Suffolk is better than Ipswich because Suffolk people Vote Conservative.

  5. Would Thatcher have said that?

Would Alfred the Great have said that?

Would the Venerable Bede have said that?

Would Saint Jude have said that?

Such harsh words from a loyal Tory against his own party and his Home Town.

Still, when they kick you out Kevin there’s always a warm welcome back on the Marxist left.

  6. Take a typical UKIP candidate strip them of their tweed jacket, wellies ect and basically what you have left is a euro sceptic Tory. Even in the C4 documentary Nigel Farage was receiving support from major Tories, so it doesn’t surprise me that Tories would tactically vote for UKIP. It’s not like their voting Libdem!

  7. Would Thatcher have said that? The Great One said that it’s always better where the Tories are.

Would Alfred the Great have said that? Alfred the Great created a North/South divide by handing half the country to foreigners.

Would the Venerable Bede have said that? I’ve only read The Life of Saint Cuthbert and the Voyage of Saint Brendan, so I wouldn’t know.

Would Saint Jude have said that? Saint Jude is the patron Saint of lost causes like the SWP.

The only problem Ipswich has, is a Labour council and anything to get rid of them is good. When they kick me out? As I haven’t renewed my membership, they may find that difficult.

  8. Bit of an assumption and a rather naïve one at that, to state people elsewhere in Suffolk vote Conservative. That is not the case. To blame all of Ipswich’s ‘problems’ on Labour is also naïve to say the least.

  9. The best comment was when he said that Alfred the Great created a North/South divide by handing half the country to foreigners.
That should have worked out quite well for the nationalist Right though, because the Danes are quite Europhobic as well.

  10. It’s all a blooming shame.

As a rising star of Ipswich Conservative Association Kevin Algar, known for his debonair looks and piercing wit, was tipped as a future wardrobe attendant at the Suffolk Club and…. who knows….perhaps more,a post as a footstool for Ben Gummer, Cabinet Member for Ipswich.

Now he has thrown it all away to back an anti-foreigner party.

In his hatred Kevin should turn away from pouring scorn on the town and say,

” Breathes there the man, with soul beyond reach,
Who never to himself hath said,
This is my own, my, our, native Ipswich!

  11. […] there is Andrew Coates. If you are a Stalinist welfare scrounger then you may find his views […]

  12. Still a nasty little man then. Nobody really wants him do they? Is everyone on the left really a scrounger? Goodness, pushing people away so fast.
