UFOs: Marxists Make Meeting.

Ready for Historic Meeting.

Ready for Historic Meeting

Life can exist on other planets, in other solar systems, in other galaxies, and other universes.

We have to call on beings from other planets, while they come, to intervene and work with the inhabitants of the earth to abolish poverty and destitution.

We have to unite with them, they who seem more powerful than humans, so that they can come and help us  solve our terrestrial problems.

First Contact, they say, is a harrowing experience.

But the Tendance has been there.

To Rendelsham Forest, where the United Galactic Commune made their tentative attempt to get in touch.

In  December 1980 they unfortunately ran into an imperialist spy network, aka, US forces.

Here is what happened (the ‘Halt Memorandum’)

Scared, they say, by this abortive attempt, our comrades fled.

They have only just returned.

More information will be posted shortly.

Flying Saucers and Socialism: J.Posadas.

Welcome Comrades!

It has long struck the Tendance that if UFOs exist then those inside them are  bound to be more advanced than, say, the Tory leadership of Suffolk County Council.

A brave Trotskyist, J. Posadas, suggested that they come from socialist planets.

Fortean Times says,

By Matt Salusbury

We think of UFO cults, typically, as being naïve, fancy-dress Californian affairs, scary religious Doomsday sects, or even neo-Nazi groups convinced that flying saucers operate from a secret Antarctic base. But there was one UFO cult at the opposite end of the political spectrum: a Trotskyite UFO cult.

They called themselves the Posadists after their founder Juan R Posadas and, like many UFO cults, they bore a fierce loyalty to their “dear master”.1 They believed that close encounters were evidence of superior socialist civilisations from Earth’s future. Their bizarre belief in flying saucers was not channelled to them by some tackily-named space entity but “theoretically informed” by Marx and Trotsky, and was for them a logical extension of Marxist dialectical materialism. Posadas wrote: “We will travel to planets millions of light years away under a Socialist society.”

Their founder was a leading light of Latin American Trotskyism, one of a select group running the Fourth International (see ‘Posadism for Beginners’ side bar) after Leon Trotsky’s death. Alongside their esoteric texts on “flying saucers, the process of matter and energy, science, the revolutionary class struggle and the Socialist future of humanity,” 2 they also preached more orthodox Marxism and strove tirelessly to bring about world revolution. Posadist Fourth International affiliates worked to organise trade unions, often operating clandestinely under dictatorships. Some ‘comrades’ even lost their lives in the struggle.

This idea, widly ridiculed by the usual crew of sceptics and know-nothings, has been confirmed by many Doctor Who Episodes. Not to mention the American military cover-up of the Rendelsham Forest Incident.

We have visited Rendelsham Forest and can say that from a materialist and dialectical standpoint it is an ideal landing point for vistors from an advanced communist civilisation.

Is it not a short drive to the Tendance’s HQ?

We note with regret that Posadas’s seminal work on the subject in not available on the Marxist Internet Achive.

As a service to the movement we publish it – in the only version we can access – in French.

We should call out to other Beings on Other Planets, when they come, to intervene and co-operate with the Earth’s inhabitants to end our wretchedness.

Life can exist on other planets, in other solar systems, in other galaxies, and other universes.
